The State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Shenzhen Branch (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in Relation to Launching the Application Work for the 2023 Second Batch of Housing (Rental and Living) Subsidy for Newly Introduced Talents in Enterprises in Zhuhai Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 10 October 2023. The authorities announced that the launching of the application work for the 2023 second batch of housing (rental and living) subsidy for newly introduced talents in enterprises in Zhuhai Municipality shall be conducted from 10 October 2023 to 3 November 2023. The subsidy amount for senior professional titles is RMB350,000 and for associate senior professional titles is RMB250,000. First-time applicant is required to have paid social insurance premiums continuously for at least 6 months in Zhuhai Municipality. For talents from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign countries, it is sufficient to provide only one of the following: proof of paying social insurance premiums or individual income tax payment record. Eligible applicants may register and log in the “Zhuhai Human Resources and Social Security Online Service Platform” and follow the system guidelines to fill out the application form and upload relevant documents.
