The Shenzhen Municipal Leading Group for Talent Work (“the authorities”) issued the “Opinions in relation to the Implementation of More Proactive, Open, and Effective Talent Policies to Promote High-quality Talent Development” (“the Opinions”) on 1 November 2023. The authorities announced that newly introduced doctoral graduates, master's and bachelor's degree graduates from well-known domestic and overseas universities, under the age of 35, shall receive corresponding living allowances. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan youth, who meet the criteria, shall also be eligible for the same subsidies.
