The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of the Zhuhai Municipality and Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Finance (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Increasing Basic Pension Standard of the Basic Pension Insurance for Urban and Rural Residents in Zhuhai Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 8 December 2023. The authorities announced that starting from 1 July 2023, the basic pension standard of the basic pension insurance for urban and rural residents shall be increased from RMB 500 per person per month to RMB 503 per person per month. The increased basic pension shall be reissued before the end of December.
