On 29 December 2023, the Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation issued the “Administrative and Support Measures for Technology Entrepreneurship Incubators in Zhuhai Municipality” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to develop incubation spaces oriented towards Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and internationalization in Zhuhai Municipality. The incubation spaces aim to provide incubation venues for innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer projects from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and offer personalized, customized, and refined professional services. In addition, the Measures aimed to encourage collaborations between incubation carriers and domestic and foreign universities, research institutes, chambers of commerce, associations, and enterprises. The Measures shall be implemented from 1 February 2024 and remain valid until 31 January 2027.
