The Office of People's Government of Zhuhai Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Employment Optimisation and Stabilization Policies and Measures to Promote Development and Facilitate People's Livelihood” (“the Notice”) on 6 January 2024. The authorities announced to increase support in the “Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme”. Youth who participates in the scheme and arranged for employment in the Zhuhai Municipality in accordance with the scheme, shall be given living allowance at a standard of RMB2,000 per person per month. Meanwhile, the authorities encourage young talents to work in Zhuhai Municipality through the implementation of the “Zhuhai Municipal Talent Plan” and by providing housing (rental) subsidy and living allowance to newly introduced young talents in enterprises.
