The General Affairs Office of People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Implementation Measures of Comprehensively Deepen the Team Establishment for Pre-school Teachers” (“the Notice”) on 15 January 2024. The authorities announced to enhance the quality of training and cultivating pre-school teachers, to comprehensively implement professional standards of pre-school teachers, to enhance comprehensive nurturing ability and to establish a high-quality training team. The goal is to establish a high-quality training instructor team and construct 100 high-quality practical training bases for pre-school teachers by 2025. Meanwhile, pre-school principals and teachers shall be included in the “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Joint Training Program” for cultivation.
