SFST leads securities industry representatives to visit Cyberport

The Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr Christopher Hui (centre), today (June 16) led representatives from the securities and investment industry to visit Cyberport to learn about the latest developments in the financial technology (fintech) area. They first met with the Chief Executive Officer of Cyberport, Mr Peter Yan (right). Also joining was Legislative Council member Mr Christopher Cheung (left).
The Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr Christopher Hui (third right), and representatives from the securities and investment industry today (June 16) met with four start-ups that have just been approved to receive subsidies under the FinTech Proof-of-Concept Subsidy Scheme in Cyberport, and took the chance to understand their project details. The Permanent Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury (Financial Services), Ms Salina Yan (fifth right), and the Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr Joseph Chan (first right), were also present.
