On 15 August 2023, the Authority of Qianhai of the Shenzhen Municipality issued the “Measures for Providing Office Premises Subsidies and Promoting Industrial Cluster in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone” (“the Measures”). The Measures specified that enterprises applying for office premises subsidy shall meet the conditions as having the actual business operation in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone, being included in the headquarters enterprises list of Qianhai and being newly established in the former Qianhai Cooperation Zone from 1 January 2021, or newly established in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone from 6 September 2021. For Hong Kong invested organisations which purchase office premises for their own use or lease office premises in an office building for their own use in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone for the first time, they will be awarded at 1.2 times of the subsidy and capped at the maximum subsidy amount. The Measures will be implemented from 15 August 2023 and will be valid for 3 years.
