On 21 August 2023, the Office of the People’s Government of Dongguan Municipality issued the “Implementation Opinions for Strengthening the Development of Financial Services in Full Lifecycle” (“the Opinions”). The Opinions specified the tasks for continuously strengthening the capital market in Dongguan municipality and proposed to deepen the cooperation with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”), the Shanghai Stock Exchange (“SHSE”), the Beijing Stock Exchange (“BJSE”) and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong ("SEHK"), cooperate with various towns and streets to carry out a series of work such as “industry incubation, project road show and listing guidance”, and cultivate manufacturing enterprises that are champions of particular products, enterprises that specialized in science and technology and innovative enterprises for potential listing. The Opinions will be implemented from 21 August 2023 and be valid until 31 December 2025 unless specific requirements or time limit are issued separately.
