The Jiangmen Municipal People’s Government (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Implementation Opinions of “Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Construction and Administration of Kindergartens in Residential Communities in Jiangmen Municipality”” (“the Notice”) on 8 December 2023. The authorities announced that the overall planning for the construction of kindergartens shall ensure that the school-aged children admit based on proximity. Meanwhile, also taking comprehensive consideration in integrated planning of kindergartens and childcare institutions. The Notice shall be effective from 1 January 2024 and valid until 30 November 2027.
