The People's Government of Zhongshan Municipality issued the Regulations for the Point Based School Admission System for Migrant Persons (the Regulations) on 10 March 2020. Migrant persons who have obtained the “Residence Permit for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Residents”, accumulated points of over 30 and fulfil requirements including stable employment in Zhongshan may apply for the point-based school admission system for their children. The Regulations are effective from 1 March 2020 until 31 December 2022.
